I got a chronological Bible for Christmas a few years ago which allows you to read through the Bible in the order that things happened, and you do it in a year. I am still Genesis and I have 2 questions Pastor Dear can answer sometime on Sunday night, you will have to come to church to hear the answers.
- Why did people live so much longer in the Bible? Adam lived 930 years, Enosh lived 840 years, etc
- Where did Cain get his wife? If Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel were the first 4 people on earth, where did the other wives come from?
Looks like a bad weather weekend, so bundle up and stay warm.

Jeff, that's something I always wondered too, where did Cain get his wife if Adam and Eve were the first two people on earth. Since the bible doesn't typically single out women to talk about (weather that was the custom back then or not) did Adam and Eve have other children who were female? and if so, was Cain involved in insest? In today's day and age, insest is outlawed because of the high percent of birth defects (besides that it's just sick). What has changed between then and now, one would think that the birth defect rate would have been higher then, but God can allow and prevent anything he want's to.
